Policies

Deposits

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments and course bookings. This deposit forms part of your total balance and is deducted from the amount owed on the day.

For most services and 1-day courses, deposits are paid at the time of online booking. For multi-day makeup courses enquired via the contact form, a deposit invoice will be sent to you once your dates are confirmed.

Your appointment or course place is not confirmed until your deposit has been received.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment or course, please give us at least 48 hours notice by calling, texting, or WhatsApp messaging us on 07985 165631, or emailing houseofdoll@outlook.com.

With 48 hours or more notice, we will reschedule your appointment to a mutually agreed date. Your deposit will be carried forward to the new booking.

Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in the deposit being forfeited. This is at our discretion and we appreciate your understanding — late cancellations can be difficult to fill at short notice.

No-shows (failing to attend without notice) will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Future bookings may require payment in full in advance.

Refund Policy

All deposits are non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances (such as sudden illness or bereavement), we will always do our best to work with you and find a solution — please contact us as soon as possible.

Full course payments are non-refundable once a course has commenced. Buy Now, Pay Later payments are managed through the third-party finance provider — please contact them directly regarding any queries about finance repayments.

If you are unhappy with any treatment, please let us know on the day or within 24 hours. We will always aim to resolve any concerns as quickly as possible.

Patch Testing

A patch test is required 48 hours before your first brow or lash treatment (including brow tinting, brow lamination, and lash lift & tint treatments). This is a legal and safety requirement.

If you attend your appointment without having had a patch test, or if you have had a patch test reaction, we will be unable to carry out the treatment. In this case, your deposit may not be refundable as the appointment time is lost.

Please contact us to arrange your patch test before booking your first brow or lash appointment.

If you have previously had a patch test with us but have had any change in medications, health conditions, or it has been more than 6 months since your last treatment, a new patch test will be required.

Late Arrivals

Please aim to arrive on time for your appointment. If you are running late, please let us know as soon as possible.

Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may mean the treatment cannot be completed in full, or may need to be rescheduled. This does not affect your liability for the deposit.

Buy Now, Pay Later (Finance)

“Buy Now, Pay Later” finance options are available for full-price course payments on most courses. Finance is provided by a third-party provider and a service fee (interest) is applied by them — this is not charged by House of Doll Studios.

Please contact us for details on which courses are eligible and how to apply. Finance approval is subject to the provider's criteria.

Health & Safety

Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, skin sensitivities, medications, or recent treatments before your appointment or course.

We reserve the right to decline or modify a treatment if we believe it may cause harm to the client. Your safety and wellbeing are our priority.

All tools and equipment are sanitised between clients. We use professional-grade, skin-safe products throughout.
